We are saddened to learn of the passing of Neil McIntosh CBE, former Chair of the Board of Trustees at The Access Project.
Neil served with our board from 2013 until 2021. In his time, Neil helped drive The Access Project’s mission, supporting growth in London and our expansion into the West Midlands. Neil had an immense drive for equality and worked relentlessly in public service to bring about positive change.
Neil made a real difference for many children; many who would not otherwise have gone to university, thanks to Neil’s influence, went to a top university and broke the cycle of disadvantage.
We are incredibly grateful to Neil for his thoughtful guidance of The Access Project during his time as our Chair and for the enthusiasm for our mission that his leadership fostered.
We extend our deepest sympathies to Neil’s friends, family, and colleagues during this time.
Melinda
